Cybersecurity & Compliance

What does a cybersecurity assessment include?

Our cybersecurity assessments audit your network, endpoints, and Microsoft 365 environment to identify vulnerabilities, then provide a prioritized action plan to close those gaps.

Do you offer cybersecurity training for staff, not just technical safeguards?

Yes — practical, plain-language training covering phishing recognition, password/MFA hygiene, and safe data handling, delivered virtually or in person for organizations of any size.

What is a HIPAA Security Rule gap assessment?

A review of your technical safeguards — access control, audit logging, data integrity, and transmission security — against what the Security Rule actually requires, with a prioritized plan to close whatever gaps we find. This covers the technical half of HIPAA compliance, not policies or administrative safeguards.

Identity & Access Management

What's the difference between Microsoft Entra ID and Okta, and can you help migrate between them?

Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Okta are both identity providers used for single sign-on and access management. We handle migrations to, from, and between both platforms, including hybrid and cross-platform identity transitions.

Business Continuity

What's the difference between a backup and a disaster recovery plan?

A backup is a copy of your data. A disaster recovery plan is what actually happens next — what gets restored first, how long it takes, who's responsible for what, and whether it's ever been tested. Most businesses have the first and not the second.

We already have backups — do we still need a continuity plan?

Often, yes. Having backups and having a tested, reliable recovery plan are different things — a surprising number of backup systems fail silently or turn out to be incomplete the first time someone actually needs to restore from them.
